Meet Andy

Andy Cowie

Andy is an enthusiastic rider who took up cycling at the age of 40 and competed mainly in Time Trials but a few Road Races too in Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Denmark. He is now focused personally on endurance challenges.

2022 saw Andy complete the "Lang Way Doon" end to end of Scotland via two ski centres in 22 hours. He'll be completing the Cingles du Mont Ventoux and Pyrennean Raid in 2023.

Andy is passionate about working with riders of any ability to maximise their potential whether that is just to get fitter or to achieve personal bests.

He is a fully qualified Performance Coach with the prestigious Level 3 British Cycling coaching qualification and also has a postgraduate qualification in executive coaching and mentoring.

You invest in a cycling coach for their knowledge and ability to apply up to date sports science to your goals. However, its also good to know that your coach can empathise with you working hard to complete the sessions as prescribed.
